Organic Working Farm.
Moss Lane Farm is a Collective working organic farm
Rooted in the heart of Chat Moss Salfords rich countryside a community-led regenerative farm and environmental initiative grounded in agroecology, heritage, education, ecological stewardship, and cooperative community development.
Our work brings together land, learning, well-being, local food systems, and environmental regeneration through a connected ecosystem of organisations working toward a shared vision:
“Restoring low-land peatlands, strengthening community, preserving heritage, and creating sustainable futures.”
Our Vision
We believe farms can become powerful spaces for education, healing, biodiversity, food resilience, and community transformation.
Moss Lane Farm exists to reconnect people with:
• Nature
• Food growing
• Land stewardship
• Environmental responsibility
• Community participation
• Sustainable futures
• Heritage preservation
Through regenerative land practices and inclusive learning opportunities, we aim to create long-term social, environmental, and economic impact across Greater Manchester and beyond.
The everyday running of the farm is a school day for our family, no two days are the same we call it Adventure Farming!
Learning, education, living off the land, knowing where your food comes from gives you the best satisfaction of knowing exactly what I’m putting into my boy’s bodies.
Growing is easy when you know how and can be therapeutic too. Once you understand the process of growing, you become more intriguing about how it grows and the importance nature plays in our food system.
We now are a certified organic farm producing fresh fruit & vegetables.
We hope to see you down at the farm one day, hopefully for several days!
